all of my impassioned outrage vented on Tiny Dog applies here as well because grrrrrr too tiny!

 photo IMG_1278_zpskxqnqffd_1.jpg

too easy to accidentally eat!!

the funny thing is, the longer you look at these, the more normal these cats look

maybe it’s just me, addled on painkillers, but after a while my brain just recalibrated into ‘this is the size that cats are’

 photo IMG_1374_zpsmrnpqkcz.jpg

to the extent that i looked over at maggie and thought MAGGIE IS HUGE! like, remarkably huge!

 photo IMG_1382_zpsdsslgyxu.jpg

i should publish a book showing off how huge my cat is!! and this isn’t just the painkillers’ idea! it’s genius!

i mean, look at this picture of a normal-sized cat with some bananas

 photo IMG_1377_zpsyqhe9tgd_1.jpg

and then look at this picture of maggie with some bananas

SHE IS A MUTANT!! and people want pictures of mutant cats, right? surely as much as they want pictures of regular-sized cats playing cards.

i say yes! now someone drop a book deal in my lap because this surgery isn’t going to pay for itself.

this feels gauche, but when i announced i was starting a blog, everyone assured me this is a thing that is done. i’m not on facebook, i’ve never had a cellphone or listened to a podcast; so many common experiences of modern life are foreign to me, but i’m certainly struggling financially, so if this is how the world works now, i’d be foolish to pass it up. any support will be received with equal parts gratitude and bewilderment.
