Color Quest: Extreme Coloring Challenges to Complete by Joanna Webster
My rating: 5/5 cats
WELCOME TO JUNE PROJECT!
JUNE PROJECT IS OVER!!
this is the perfect project-book for my limited attention span right now. it’s a coloring book, but it’s a bossy coloring book, telling you exactly which color to slap into which space. no thinking, no deciding, just following directions like a drone. i can manage this.
okay, first things first—this book is HUGE. for scale, this is how much larger than a box of girl scout cookies it is:
also, i am not doing these in any particular order, cuz the book doesn’t get to make all my decisions for me.
JUNE 1
i think the best way to track this is with a full-page picture, in which details are indistinct:
then a close-up:

View Spoiler »sorry, i had to take another little break from posting. i’ve been diligently doing the coloring, but sometimes it takes so long that i’m too tired to post after, or it’s too hot to be alive, or i get my cat’s cremains back in a fancy wooden box (which i think is weird, but sean of the house wanted her with us, and i totally understand) and it’s just too sad to pretend. so here are a few days of coloring, if anyone cares.

View Spoiler »IN CONCLUSION: five stars cats for the book, two stars cats for me, for thinking it would be a good idea to do one of these a day. and let’s have a moment of silence for all the markers who gave up their lives for this project. stubby purple—you will be missed. gold sharpie—we had some laughs, didn’t we?? dark gray—you were too good for this world. blue green, medium blue, turquoise—it’s true what they say—nothing blue can stay. i pour out some DD coffee for all of you. ACK, KEYBOARD!
