aaaaand so i guess this book is just going to re-use some of the same images that were in Kaleidoscope Sticker Mosaics: Wild Creatures, but do them more 80’s-fluorescent this time ’round. which means there are going to be more birds in my future. super.

oho!! a new creature, NOT a repeat and also not a bird. thank you for listening, book!

what have we learned today, y’all? mostly that fiona has magical powers that can turn a good thing into BIRDS. i hope you’re happy, fiona. i hope you’re just tickled pink.

fiona strikes again! also, this is a repeat from the first book, and a particularly challenging one to keep all the stickers stuck to. there is much curling. like in the olympics, and just as entertaining.

this one is trying to fool you – it photographed well, but what it ISN’T showing you is all its curly edges flipping up like they’re trying to escape. there were so many tiny ones, i was too damn tired afterwards to even post it. true fact.

aaaaand another bird. i am cursed.

this little guy’s not bad: his stickers mostly all line up, they’re more or less staying in place, and most importantly, he’s not some eyeball-pecking, sunroof-pooping, french fry-stealing bird.

ugh, this guy again. i hated doing this page in the non-neon version of this book. those scrawny legs have such teensy stickers, and my poor old eyes and sausage fingers weren’t any more proficient this time around…

i didn’t get a chance to post yesterday’s, so i’m doing it now. and i’m sorry it is not worth waiting for. i need to start choosing my projects better. i just don’t have time for the more labor-intensive projects these days. it is regrettable.

oooh, this is what it would look like if lisa frank worked on bojack!

and that is the end of the month. HOWEVER, there are TWO more pages in the book, and even though I DO NOT WANT TO, i feel compelled to finish. i have peeked – neither of them are birds, so i’m going to suffer through them. tomorrow, though – this was too long of a day to do any more stickering.

okay, here are the FINAL TWO stickerpages and now i am officially finished with this book.

ending this project with a mighty roaring catbeast, presumably with a tummyful of stickerbirds bodes well for the future. may we all triumph over adversity. and birdversity.

this feels gauche, but when i announced i was starting a blog, everyone assured me this is a thing that is done. i’m not on facebook, i’ve never had a cellphone or listened to a podcast; so many common experiences of modern life are foreign to me, but i’m certainly struggling financially, so if this is how the world works now, i’d be foolish to pass it up. any support will be received with equal parts gratitude and bewilderment.
