WELCOME TO JUNE PROJECT!
i know, i knooow i just did a querkles book for march project, and it is very disappointing to have another one so soon on its heels, but best laid plans &yadda – i was going to do another cooking project this month, but BEA fell right at the month’s end and i needed to recover a bit, and starting a new project a couple of days into the month felt like it would be doing a disservice to any cookbook, so i finished up my PEEPS® project for the beginning of the month, knowing that this querkles book only had 20 querkles in it, and i could start it on the 10th, see out the month, and start a cookbook project fresh for july. plus, this one is ALL CATS, so that means THERE WILL BE NO BIRDS IN IT! and that’s as good a reason as any to do it. so, apologies if you are all querkled out, but this will be the last querkle project i EVER do, unless they come out with better options than Querkles: Icons and Querkles: Masterpieces because zzzzzz.
o, and this time, i have taken photographs of all the querkles BEFORE starting, so i don’t accidentally forget to photograph one in the nude before coloring all over it and then feel foolish. sometimes i learn from mistakes. sometimes.

OKAY, I HAVE DECIDED! for each day’s querkle, i will use that little right-click dropdown to request that GOOGLE find me a ‘visually similar image.’ although not necessarily cat-related, i think it may lead to some interesting and unexpected results. i’m not sure yet if i am going to choose the first match or the one that amuses me the most – life is so full of decisions! i will go back now and fill in the first two! fingers crossed for fun!
