i read this book while waiting for inventory to begin, so i am going to do a quick review of it so you guys don’t forget about me entirely. i have been one busy monkey, and my reviewing has suffered.

inventory was a very glamorous evening. read about it here.

this is a really cute little book, although it is somewhat light on content. however, it makes up for it with pictures like this:

which is a food-gluttony-induced nightmare to which i can really relate.

and, of course, what review would be complete without a little off-color giggle from me?

i appreciate how it is critical of fine art hung in a fine art gallery:

this pretty much sums up my feelings on art in general.

and yet, i really do respond to this kind of art:

but it might also be because of my commitment to fashion. this, i find very fashionable.

this picture is for greg!! the horror!!

and, because who hasn’t been there?

and this is probably the cutest review of this book ever

after that, what could i possibly add? she’s summed it up perfectly. back to busy, but never fear, i shall return with more substantial reviews soon enough!!

this feels gauche, but when i announced i was starting a blog, everyone assured me this is a thing that is done. i’m not on facebook, i’ve never had a cellphone or listened to a podcast; so many common experiences of modern life are foreign to me, but i’m certainly struggling financially, so if this is how the world works now, i’d be foolish to pass it up. any support will be received with equal parts gratitude and bewilderment.
