now we’re talking!!

this is back to the cool gory imaginative stuff that made me love pavlov’s dogs so much. this is a prequel to that one, and it is a story of things going horribly awry in a lab where mad scientists perform genetic experiments with human subjects in order to make monsters. because science needs monsters.

and really, what could go wrong??

YOU GOT CHOCOLATE IN MY PEANUT BUTTER!

which is not entirely accurate, here, but it comes close, and it is a little something we like to call foreshadowing

this book has everything

gill men

lady werewolves

zombie prototypes

sexy asian scientists

and large-scale violence in a confined setting.

HELL, YEAH!

gimmie the next novella, please!!

this feels gauche, but when i announced i was starting a blog, everyone assured me this is a thing that is done. i’m not on facebook, i’ve never had a cellphone or listened to a podcast; so many common experiences of modern life are foreign to me, but i’m certainly struggling financially, so if this is how the world works now, i’d be foolish to pass it up. any support will be received with equal parts gratitude and bewilderment.
